Upgrading From Stucco to Hardie Siding in Los Angeles, California
Location: Los Angeles
Renovations: James Hardie Siding Replacement
Stucco homes are common in Los Angeles, but these homeowners contacted Approved Contractor because they were ready for a refresh on their home’s exterior.
We started by meeting with the customers to discuss their desires, budget, and expectations for the project. Their main concerns involved transitioning their two-story home from stucco to siding, changing the color, and preserving the high-end look of the exterior.
A New Look with Hardie Siding
After a detailed discussion to understand their needs, we recommended Hardie® Plank lap siding. Compared to other siding alternatives, Hardie Plank is a more fireproof, pest-proof, and fade-proof product – and fading is a major concern in sunny LA. Additionally, unlike the original stucco, Hardie® siding requires almost no maintenance other than an occasional gentle wash with a low-pressure garden hose.
The homeowners chose Arctic White siding, with beautifully contrasting black shutters. The end result was a classic, high-end look the customer loved!
Outstanding Results With Hardie Plank Siding
While installing Hardie siding, we worked with the customer frequently on the details and scheduling. We assured them it would be worth the wait, and as the process wrapped up, they agreed. They were very happy with our crew’s thoroughness and the overall results, saying they’d use us again in the future.
